Hello Hams, Family & Friends
We will be hosting the NMARES annual Amateur
Radio Field Day
on our family farm this year. If you are in the area stop in, or spend
the weekend with us. Dates are June 22-23-24,2007.
Field
Day
equipment set up will start on June 22th around 16:00. The actual Field
Day event
& Ham Radio Operation starts on 23rd & ends on the 24th.
The Field Day camp site will be on the back 40 acres of the farm,
around the fire pit. It is Primitive Camping with a
porta-pottie available.
(hose end water available near Nursery Office)
Tents, Trailers,
Campers welcome bring whatever you need to be comfortable. Bring your
own
food, we will provide marshmallows for the camp fire.
We will also provide soft drinks and hot-dogs for a communal hot
dog
roast Saturday afternoon.
We are planing a family type outing with children, spouses,
and significant
others.
This is camp
out is
open to the public and will be advertised in the local media.
You do not need to be a ham operator to participate in Field Day,
bring your
interest, lawn chairs, books, lawn games ect, enjoy the out of doors
and friendly folks.
We will have a tail gate swap on Saturday the 23rd, 08:00-12:00N
its
like a flea market or tail gate garage sale. If you have
something to
sell bring it along. There is no charge for any of the weekend
events.
Motels are available in the area if you prefer less primitive
accommodations, but call and make reservations early.
